This photograph is from a series of photographs I shot on 35mm film in 2005 addressing the influence of media on a woman's self-esteem.
Each print measures 16 x 20 and was printed by hand on an enlarger in a darkroom on Kodak paper then processed to create a color photograph.
This is not a digital print or process. A computer was never used at any point during this process.
You are a purchasing an original color photograph printed in 2005 and stored in archival manner since they were printed.
Each print is sleeved in a cello envelope and shipped in protective tube mailer.
Please note that listing image is a JPG scan of a slide and doesn't not represent the clarity of the original print. I'm happy to provide more photos of the work upon request.
The title of each photograph is taken from a cosmetic/beauty company slogan or advertisement.
